TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Your first lesson must be paid for at the time of booking. All subsequent lessons must be paid for in full at least 48 hours before the lesson start time. No payment = no lesson. If payment is not received 48 hours before the lesson then your space may be given to another pupil.

2. Payment is by bank transfer will need to be at least 48 hours in advance of the lesson.

3. If you need to cancel your lesson I need at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel within the 48 hours the lesson is chargeable/non refundable.

4. If you are late for your lesson, it will still need to finish at the normal time so that I am not late for the next lesson. There will be no refund for the missed time. In the unlikely event that I am late then I will add the time on at the end of the lesson if possible or to a future lesson.

5. My time and use of my car for the practical driving test is classed as a normal lesson so usual lesson prices will apply. This may mean a longer time slot needing to be booked due to the distance to some test centres.

Grantham - 2 hour slot

Lincoln and Boston - 2 hour 30 minute slot.

6. It is your responsibility to let me know of any medical history that may affect your driving lessons.

7. Prices are subject to change and are monitored according to the average price for Driving Instructors in the area.

8. Please ensure you check with me before booking a practical driving test to confirm I am available on that day/time to be able to take you. Failure to do this may mean you needing to change your test.

9. If you need to change the pick up/drop off point for your lessons I will always try to accommodate where possible, however this would depend on the location of the previous/next lesson to ensure it doesnt affect another pupil.

10. Please note that once you have a test booked I will take you providing you are at the required stage by the time your test date comes around. If I do not feel you are test ready then I may refuse to take you to your test.

As from 16th March 2025, I will now be insisting on 2 passed mock tests before I authorise my car use for your test.

11. It is your responsibility to not get any speeding fines or points. If you are caught speeding or obtain any other fines/points during the lesson, these would be your responsibility and go on your record.

12. If you are lucky enough to be given a permanent weekly lesson, you need to commit to this. Whilst it is understandable that you may need a lesson off now and then due to a holiday or other reason, please be advised that if you cancel 3 times I may give your space away to another pupil.

I reserve the right to amend driving lessons if I am unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to traffic. At least 48 hours notice is requested to cancel pre-booked driving lessons, or you may be required to pay for late cancellations. Before booking practical Driving Tests, an ADI reference number will be supplied to confirm the readiness of the student drivers ability for test and for use of the Driving School vehicles.
